1/2 CUP ALMONDS

1/2 CUP WALNUT HALVES

1/2 CUP SHREDDED COCONUT

1/4 CUP CHIA SEEDS

1/4 CUP RAW CACAO POWDER

1 TBS MACA POWDER

METHOD

• COVER DATES WITH BOILING WATER (JUST COVERED) AND LEAVE TO SOAK FOR 10MINS

• DISCARD HALF OF THE WATER, THEN PROCESS DATES WITH REMAINING WATER UNTIL A STICKY PASTE FORMS

• ADD IN ALL REMAINING INDREDIENTS AND PROCESS UNTIL NUTS BROKEN INTO SMALL PIECES AND EVERYTHING COMBINED

• PRESS MIXTURE INTO A SQUARE CAKE TIN LINED WITH CLING WRAP & PLACE INTO THE FREEZER FOR AN HOUR OR TWO BEFORE SLICING! 

YOU COULD SUBSTITUTE ALMONDS AND WALNUTS WITH OTHER NUTS/SEEDS. YOU COULD TOP WITH GOJI BERRIES/CACAO NIBS/CRUSHED NUTS BEFORE FREEZING.  YOU COULD ALSO ROLL THESE INTO BALLS
