RAW BANANA ENERGY BALLS

INGREDIENTS  (MAKES 75 BITE SIZED BALLS)

2 CUPS ROLLED OATS

1 CUP WALNUTS

1 CUP ALMOND MEAL

1 HEAPED TBS CINNAMON

2 HEAPED TBS MACA POWDER*

1/4 TSP SEA SALT

10 MEDJOOL DATES, PITTED

3 RIPE BANANAS, PEELED, SLICED

DESICCATED COCONUT FOR COATING

METHOD

• PROCESS DRY INGREDIENTS (EXCEPT COCONUT) UNTIL OATS AND WALNUTS HAVE BROKEN DOWN TO NEARLY A ‘MEAL’ CONSISTENCY

• ON LOW SPEED, ADD IN BANANAS FIRST, THEN THE DATES AND MIX UNTIL COMPLETELY COMBINED 

• REFRIGERATE MIXTURE FOR 30-6OMINS

• ROLL TEASPOONS (OR TABLESPOONS) OF MIX INTO BALLS AND ROLL IN COCONUT

• PLACE BALLS INTO AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER AND STORE IN THE FRIDGE

* YOU COULD SUBSTITUTE MACA WITH PROTEIN POWDER OR CACAO.
