 CLEAN ANZAC BICCIES

INGREDIENTS

1 CUP ALMOND MEAL

¼ CUP PURE MAPLE SYRUP

½ CUP SLIVERED ALMONDS

1/2 TSP BICARB SODA

½ CUP ROLLED OATS

1 TBS WATER

1 CUP DESICCATED COCONUT

PINCH OF FINE SEA SALT

¼ CUP COCONUT OIL

METHOD

• PREHEAT OVEN TO 160 DEGREES, LINE TWO BAKING TRAYS WITH BAKING PAPER

• COMBINE ALL DRY INGREDIENTS, EXCEPT BICARB SODA

• HEAT OIL AND MAPLE SYRUP, ADD IN WATER AND BICARD SODA AND WHISK UNTIL COMPLETELY COMBINED (OIL IS NOT SEPARATED FROM OTHER INGREDIENTS)

• POUR WET INGREDIENTS INTO DRY AND MIX TO COMBINE

• ROLL SPOONFULS INTO COOKIE SIZED BALLS, AND FLATTEN ON BAKING TRAY

• BAKE FOR 15 MINUTES, DEPENDING ON OVEN, UNTIL GOLDEN

• ALLOW TO COOL ON TRAY FOR 5 MINUTES BEFORE TRANSFERRING TO A COOLING RACK

• STORE IN AN AIR TIGHT CONTAINER
