Rum Balls

INGREDIENTS   (MAKES 50 – SMALL SIZE)

2 CUPS WALNUTS

1 CUP MEDJOOL DATES

1/4 CUPS RAW CACAO POWDER

1/4 CUP RUM

1/4 TSP SEA SALT

1/4 CUP CHIA SEEDS

METHOD

• PROCESS EVERYTHING EXCEPT CHIA SEEDS UNTIL A CHUNKY PASTE FORMS

• ADD IN CHIA SEEDS AND PULSE UNTIL COMPLETELY COMBINED

• POP IN TO THE FRIDGE FOR 30MINS TO ALLOW MIXTURE TO FIRM UP A LITTLE

• ROLL SPOONFULS OF MIX INTO BALLS AND INTO SOME CHIA SEEDS (OR COCONUT) & PLACE BALLS INTO AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER, STORE IN THE FRIDGE

– YOU COULD ADD IN CACAO NIBS/OTHER NUTS AND SEEDS ETC FOR ADDED NUTRIENTS

– IF USING DRIED DATES, SOAK IN HOT WATER FOR 30MINS (DRAIN OFF WATER BEFORE USING) TO SOFTEN
