1/2 CUP PEPITAS (PUMPKIN SEEDS)
1 CUPS ROLLED OATS**
1/2 CUP HEMP PROTEIN POWDER***
2 TBS PURE MAPLE SYRUP*
2 TBS WATER
METHOD
• PROCESS ALMONDS, PEPITAS AND OATS UNTIL IT HAS ALL BROKEN DOWN TO NEARLY A ‘MEAL’ CONSISTENCY (YOU CAN LEAVE IT CHUNKIER IF YOU LIKE)
• ADD IN HEMP POWDER AND PULSE UNTIL COMPLETELY COMBINED
• ADD IN MAPLE SYRUP AND WATER, PROCESS UNTIL MIXTURE COMES TOGETHER FORMING A DOUGH
• ROLL TEASPOONS (OR TABLESPOONS) OF MIX INTO BALLS
• PLACE BALLS INTO AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER AND STORE IN THE FRIDGE, CAN BE FROZEN ALSO.
* HONEY/RICE MALT SYRUP/MASHED BANANA OR APPLE SAUCE COULD BE USED INSTEAD OF MAPLE SYRUP IF PREFERRED
** IF GLUTEN INTOLERANT, YOU COULD USE QUINOA FLAKES OR SPELT FLAKES INSTEAD OF OATS
*** YOU COULD SUBSTITUTE HEMP POWDER WITH A FLAVOURED PROTEIN POWDER. MAYBE OMIT MAPLE SYRUP IF FLAVOURING AND INCREASE WATER OR ADD COCONUT OIL
YOU COULD ADD IN CHIA SEEDS/SPIRULINA/CACAO ETC FOR ADDED NUTRITION BUT I WANTED TO KEEP THESE SIMPLE
